Ziton ZP3 Training Course

Here at Sonic Fire and Security Ltd we are proud to offer our training courses on the Ziton ZP3 Fire system. Training will take place in our purpose-built training facilities at our head office in Chorley, Lancashire. We can also arrange to visit to visit your directly at your preferred location using our custom training panel and board housing all common Ziton devices (please note: this option may include additional coast for time and travel expenses).

The Ziton Training courses introduce your engineers to the Ziton ZP3 fire system and programming planner software for those who are new to the Ziton ZP3 fire systems.

Sonic Fire and Security Ltd will provide each engineer with a USB stick containing the Ziton ZP3 planner software and all data sheets for the appropriate field devices, serial data cable for the ZP3 panels and certification for the attending engineers.

Please note: each attending engineers will be required to attend training with a laptop with full administration rights (no notebooks or Apple Mac computers) and RS232 serial to USB convertor and appropriate drivers pre-installed.

The one-day training course will involve practical programming of the ZP3 control panel, both with and without software planner, for front-end management.

The training course will cover the ZP3 panel and planner software. An insight to the Ziton product range, then followed by programming of the fire system via laptop and basic panels. Training topics include:

ZP3 Control panel – Capabilities and programming
Panel accessories – Capabilities and types
Line/ Loop devices – Types, communications and fault diagnosis
Program planner
Common tasks

We conduct our training courses on the 1^st Wednesday each month or if these dates at not suitable for engineers or is required urgently for a job/contract, with suitable notice we can look to allocate a date and an engineer for an appropriate date for yourselves. Training is held between 09:30 and to finish at approximately 16:30.

The Ziton day training course is £600 +VAT for up to 3 engineers, if you require additional engineers to be trained it is recommended that these attend on a separate date. We recommend the training course for up to and no more than 3 engineers at one time, allowing more time 1-on-1 tutoring if necessary. Attending engineers training at our offices will receive a light lunch and refreshments including tea and coffee. Please let us know if there are any specific dietary requirements and/or allergies in advance.
